If you’re buying a new or used car, you may be considering a vehicle service contract to protect yourself from unexpected expenses. If you’re considering a vehicle service contract, there are many options for you to consider.
Continental Warranty has a comprehensive suite of vehicle service contracts under our Ultra Care Road Program. Each offering is designed to ensure that you are protected in the most complete way should something go wrong with your vehicle. With three different levels, you can choose the degree of coverage that best suits your needs.
Vehicle Service Contract Options
The three options are:
- UCRP 2-1 – this vehicle service contract covers all expenses for the customers. Unlimited overage means that there is also no cap on tire repair or tire replacement. This contract also offers the option of unlimited 24 hour roadside (out of gas, fluids, need a jump).
- UCRP 4-1- this vehicle service contract provides coverage in 4 main areas; ding and dent, windshield repair, unlimited 24 hour roadside assistance and unlimited tire and wheel. There are no cap on occurrences.
- UCRP 6-1- this vehicle service contract offers everything included in UCRP 4-1 but also adds key replacement (domestic up to 399.00 and for Highline up to 799.00 per yr.) and cosmetic repair for rims (does not repair chrome rims, although it will replace them)
More information on each vehicle service contract can be found online.
Choosing a vehicle service contract is an important decision for new and used car buyers. You should make sure that the vehicle service contract you choose does not overlap any coverage that may already be provided in an existing warranty, if one remains on the vehicle you are purchasing. Some drivers purchasing new cars will also choose to purchase a vehicle service contract to provide them a wider range of protection for their vehicle.
